Thursday Challenge – another bandwagon to jump on


Thursday Challenge – Came across this at Uma’s blog this morning, and was fascinated about how we get to choose and feature a picture that conveys the essence of ‘peace’.

Here’s my picture… this is not particularly scenic, or even pretty. But there is something about this place, that makes me think I’m stepping into another world… and to think that this is just a couple of minutes from the busy main road!!

  2. This looks so peaceful.. what is this place??
    Its just a little alley, Nam, down the road.. but it looks so different from the modern structures that have come up just across the street!

    LOL! This is very real, but it makes me think too, that its part of a different world altogether!

    1. U were in London too? How come I never get to know people while they are here, and only start reading them after they’ve left? Not fair 😦 at all!!

    this last 2 -3 days I was in london and my god the rush, the noise and to top it i was in southhall for the nights and it was india the honking the jalebi counters , it was beautiful though πŸ™‚

  5. sometimes even places full of people give a sense of peace, like a college canteen. can see the photo in a different way because of the perspective you have associated with it..

  7. I cn so relate to what u said – my house is in this busy busy centre of the city, but the locality is so so calm that it feels like I am staying miles away πŸ™‚
    So when can I visit, Swar ;-)?
